| Our aim is to create new porous glasses that glow at a special wavelength for detecting pollutants in water. Here’s how: Firstly we will make the glasses by a melting process and adjust the ingredients to get the best performance. Then we will produce porous materials by crushing the most promising glasses into powders, 3D‑printing them, and then sintering them to create porous structures. In the end, we will evaluate how well the best porous materials can sense pollutants in water. |
